Congestion because of the accident still lingers on Interstate 66 Westbound.

A two-vehicle accident on I-66 Westbound near Route 7/Leesburg Pike has shut down the right lane and the right shoulder, creating backups of about a mile.
One person has been transported, said Corinne Geller, a spokesperson for Virginia State Police. The crash was reported to the state police at 1:51 p.m., she said.
