The red carpet is purchased, the specialty drinks have been named and metro area businesses are ready to welcome the most fashionable shoppers in Northern Virginia and D.C. during the third annual Fashion's Night Out.
Special offers and extended hours will begin 6 p.m. Thursday in Tysons Corner, Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria.
In Tysons, they are centered around the "Fashion Court," on level 1 in Tysons Corner Center, between Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom wings. Shoppers can sip cocktails and get a FNO official tour book, which outlines all specials offered by retailers throughout the mall. Many stores will offer refreshments and entertainment within their own walls, too.

In Tysons Galleria, shoppers can go to Center Court between 6 and 8 p.m. to enjoy dinner samples and listen to the Christopher Linman Jazz Ensemble. For a full list of specials planned, click here.
Willing to go the extra mile for a good deal? Events last until 11 p.m. in Georgetown, where this year's highlights include a "pop-up disco outdoor dance floor with booty-shaking DJ tunes," and a shopper's lounge, designer trunk shows, free pedicab rides in Georgetown and a red carpet open for any and all who want to strut their stuff, according to a press release from the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID).
