Mr. Haeringer is the man I believe in this situation, and I believe he ought to be exonerated from the charge. As far as drunk driving goes, if he was drunk, he needs to be fined for that, if it is proven that he was drunk. In the restaurant business from time to time there are people who try to get out of paying for something.

I would believe Jacques version of the facts. I've known him for many years and the behavior alleged is wholly inconsistent with his demeanor. I do believe him when he expressed fear of robbery.

I would believe Jacque over any contractor. Sorry to say that some contractors, not all, are not honest. Because of the nature of the business, restaurateurs drink few alcoholic beverages but that does not mean they are drunk.
