Dominion Announces Thursday Work Locations

Fewer than 2,000 Dominion customers in Northern Virginia remained without power Thursday morning.

Dominion Virginia Power this morning released a list of where crews will be working to restore power Thursday.

The list is attached to this article as a pdf (available in the media box to the right).

"Lists are based on early morning work plans for crews. However, needs often change during a major restoration and crews stay on the move. They may visit, leave and return to some locations, and may perform work at locations not shown on today's list," according to Dominion.

The highest concentration of current outages are inside the Beltway, however many smaller outages exist across Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William Counties and elsewhere.

Dominion reported only about 1,700 customers are still without power in Northern Virginia as of Wednesday night. The utility company is still on track to have everyone's power restored by Thursday night.

Stay away from downed trees and powerlines. Report outages to 1-866-DOM-HELP or use their mobile website to report outages, even if you believe your neighbor has already done so.
