Falling Power Line Starts Brush Fire, Shuts Down Leesburg Pike
Eastbound lanes on Route 7 near Gallows Road closed as crews work at scene.
A fallen power line caused a small brush fire Thursday morning in the median of Route 7 near Gallows Road, Fairfax County police said.
Eastbound lanes of Route 7 were closed as of 9:50 a.m., spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell confirmed to Patch, but a nearby access road was acting as a detour.
The road re-opened before lunch hour Thursday.
