MCA to Discuss Silver Line Cost Increases, Disaster Planning
The McLean Citizens Association, the community's unofficial town council, will meet on Wednesday night.
The McLean Citizens Association will meet for the first time in two months at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McLean Community Center.
Several items of interest are on the meeting's agenda, including:
- A resolution on Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority cost increases associated with the Silver Line
- A resolution on the Capital One Bank rezoning application
- A resolution on improving responses to future disaster events such as the June 29 derecho
- A discussion and status report on a proposed Fairfax County plan for funding transportation improvements required to support the approved plan for turning Tysons into an urban center
