Crime incidents reported by Fairfax County police in the two McLean zip codes 22101 and 22102 on Feb. 3, 2012.

Fatal Crash

On Friday, Jan. 27 around noon, police responded to a crash on Beverly Road. James Christensen, 66, of 608 Kingsley R.d in Vienna was operating his 2002 Ford Taurus southbound on Beverly Road, when he may have suffered a medical emergency. Christensen’s vehicle crossed into the northbound lane of Beverly Road, struck a parked vehicle and then struck a utility pole. Christensen was transported to a local hospital where he died later that evening. Crash Reconstruction Detectives responded to investigate the crash and the
investigation continues.

Larcenies

On the 1500 block of Lincoln Way, keys were reported stolen from a residence.

On the 7900 block of Tysons Corner Center, three pairs of Gucci sunglasses stolen from a business.

On the 1700 block of Westwind Way, three blowers were reported stolen from a vehicle.

Vehicle Thefts

A 1997 Honda Accord was reported stolen from the 1400 block of Chain Bridge Road.
