UPDATE: Southampton Hospital said that Douglas Schneiderman's wife and daughter are in stable condition as of Wednesday morning, according to a report from Taylor Vecsey, editor of East Hampton Patch.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Vice President of Madison Homes since its establishment in 1992 and a resident of McLean was killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on crash in East Hampton, NY, the Madison president said Tuesday.

Douglas Schneiderman, 51, was driving with his wife and daughter when the accident occurred, according to East Hampton Patch.

A pickup truck driven by a 20-year-old East Hampton resident "crossed over the double yellow line and hit Schneiderman's 2005 Volvo," according to East Hampton Patch, which cited police reports.

The driver of the pickup and Schneiderman's wife and daughter were hospitalized, East Hampton Patch reported. Their current conditions could not be determined Tuesday.

"It is a tragic event and Doug will be greatly missed by everyone at Madison Homes," said Russ Rosenberger, president of Madison Homes.

The company built The Palladium in downtown McLean, The Reserve at Tysons Corner, according to its website.

The company was also selected to develop Eleven Oaks in the City of Fairfax.

Funeral services will be held noon Friday at Temple Rodef Shalom. Burial will be at the King David Cemetery. Jefferson Funeral Chapel in Alexandria is handling all arrangements.
