Now Open at Tysons Galleria: Paul Bakery
French bakery now serving macaroons and other treats.
A little bit of Paris has come to McLean.
On Sunday, French Bakery Paul opened its fifth Washington-area location - and first in Virginia - Sunday at the Tysons Galleria.
Paul specializes in crusty French bread, pastries and gourmet sandwiches. But the real gems are the bakery's French macaroons. To see Paul's full menu, click here.
The 2,600-square-foot location is just inside one of the main Galleria entrances, where Daily Grill used to be.
In the spring, the store plans to have outdoor seating.
Paul at Tysons Galleria is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Phone: (571) 447-5600. Website: http://www.paul-usa.com.

Can't wait to try this place. Founded in 1889? With 100 years of banking experience figure their bread should be decent : )

Those are macarons - not to be confused with macaroons. Different cookie.

Thanks to Vienna's own Culinaria Cooking School, my wife learned to make Parisian macarons. But it'll be nice to grab some ready-made.
