Police: Teen Girls Sexually Assaulted in McLean
Incident occurred Monday along Chain Bridge Road
Fairfax County police are searching for a man who allegedly grabbed two teen girls as they walked early Monday morning along Chain Bridge Road in McLean.
Police say two 14-year-old girls were headed northbound from the Chain Bridge Court area on the east side of Chain Bridge Road around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
When they turned around to head south, the girls told police, they saw a man run across the road and hide in the far end of a church parking lot behind a bush.
When the girls continued down Davidson Road, the man walked toward them, "grabbed one of the girls and wrapped his arms around her waist," police said in a news release.
When the other girl attempted to break the man's grip on her friend, she was also grabbed.
The girls told police they were both inappropriately touched by the man. They screamed, causing a dog to bark and the man to flee northbound on Chain Bridge Road.
The teens escaped and ran home to call police. The department said the girls were not injured.
Police say the suspect is an Asian man in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a "thin build and short hair."
At the time of the incident, he was wearing blue jeans and an orange and white striped T-shirt, police said.

Why are 14 year old girls out on the streets at 3:30am? Even in a normaly safe area, 14 year old girls should be at home at 3:30am.

What were two 14 year old girls doing walking on Chain Bridge road at 3:30 a.m.? Do they have parents? If so, why do they permit their 14 year old children run around the city early in the morning? (Yes, you enlightened, permissive progressives, 14 year olds are children and should be at home sleeping at 3:30 a.m.)

It seems to me, in addition to the culprit, the Police should be looking for the irresponsible parents.

Could it be that the "enlightened, permissive progressives" you are referring to are exhausted parents who let their girls get the better of them? They snuck out perhaps? Were you never a parent (or a 14 year old). I'm guessing if they did sneak out it won't happen again!

Give the kids a break. Yes it was not very smart of them but they are just kids and they obviously would of learned their lesson. They are probably scarred and upset from this and will have learned what is smarter and what they should and shouldn't do in the future. They are kids they make mistakes and im sure that their parents are responsible and couldn't help that the kids thought that it was okay to sneak out or do something like that.
