Readers' Choice : Best Tutoring Program in McLean

Tell us your favorite

You can't walk a block in McLean without finding a company offering tutoring to help kids improve their grads and score higher on those scholastic tests.

Patch is asking readers to tell us what is the best tutoring company in McLean? Tell us about the program your child loves and has helped them improve their classroom performance.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thank you for participating.

Michelle Scott over at Tutoring Club of McLean did an outstanding job on our daughter. The lessons really helped her focus on math and reading, and best of all she loves going there. Its not a chore to her, more of private class with direct attention, and that is exactly what was needed.

I can also recommend Michelle Scott and her colleagues of the Tutoring Club for the work they do with children. My granddaughter also gets a lot of help there and she is happy to go to her sessions. She fees at home at the Tutoring Club. Lorenzo Perez

I love the Tutoring Club of McLean! My 5th grade son was way behind in math and their tutors brought him from a student who was struggling to pass his class to a B+ student. This year (7th grade) he brought home a complicated math test that he made a 98% on. I know that without the help he received at Tutoring Club, he would still been struggling. He really disliked Math but now loves it and wants to be an engineer - Wow!. Thanks again to Michelle and her wonderful staff.

Michelle Scott and her staff do an outstanding job! My kids love to go to the Tutoring Club which has helped with their self esteem. My son actually asked to take summer math classes so he could get ahead in math! Imagine that from a kid who skips meals to be on the XBox! I think this is the best testimonal to the culture, attitude and quality of TC's staff!

Michelle Scott is personal friend and my 2 oldest sons tutor. Joseph went from a struggling C student with (1) F to finishing off this school year as a solid B student with 2 A's - thanks to Michelle and her staff at Tutor Time of McLean. David was also having trouble when the school year started and we just received his Terra Nova Score Card and he is now ranked in the 99th percentile in math. My wife and I cannot thank Michelle enough for all that Tutor Time of Mc Lean has done for our kids - we will be forever grateful for all that you have done. Thanks Joe Justice

My 7th grade son uses the Tutoring Center in McLean for help with creative writing and math. His grades in both subjects have really improved and more importantly we have seen a huge change in his confidence level in both areas. My son is a kid that is typically indifferent about school but he absolutely loves his tutors at the Center and he looks forward to his sessions every week. As a parent, Michelle has made things very easy to accomodate our busy/changing schedules and is always incredibly responsive. We are big fans!

We enrolled our son at the Tutoring Club of McLean for tutoring in math, and quickly noticed a marked improvement in his test scores and confidence level. Director Michelle Scott is easy to work with, and her excellent staff of tutors made our son’s sessions fun and challenging. We’re very happy with the results, and plan to continue.
