That's our question. We discovered Wegman's when we lived in upstate New York. It is simply the best grocery story in the U.S.

Giant is by far the best in mclean...however put a wegmans anywhere in mclean and not even sure giant could survive...was hoping the rebuilt ghetto Safeway on anderson would be a nice alternative but it is the worst run store around, maybe not as bad as the other safeways around but still embarrassingly bad

We drive all the way to Fair Oaks to shop at Wegmans, passing numerous Giant's on the way.
Wegmans is far better than the others.
