See Jupiter from Riverbend Park
Mark your calendar: The Riverbend Park Astronomy Festival is March 9.
With no moonlight and dark skies, Riverbend Park will be a great spot to see Jupiter in March.
The park’s Astronomy Festival includes star (and planet) gazing, stories and snacks and is scheduled for 7 – 9 p.m. March 9, weather permitting.
Attendees will be able to look at Jupiter through the park’s Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and be able to learn about constellations visible that night.
Admission to the event is $5.
For more information or to make a reservation (only needed for a group of 10 or more people), call the park at 703-759-9018.
Riverbend Park is located at 8700 Potomac Hills Street in Great Falls
