Here are the major road closings in the McLean/Tysons Corner area brought to you by the simultaneous construction of the new Metro Silver Line and the Express lanes.

The information below is taken from public notices published weekly by the Dulles Metrorail Project and Virginia Megaprojects.

• "I-495 south from Exit 44, Georgetown Pike (Route 193) to Oak St. overpass - Three lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for overhead sign and paving work." Up to 30 minute closings after midnight.

• "Lewinsville Rd. east or west at I-495" - Road closed nightly for striping. A flagger will direct traffic.

• Tysons Boulevard. Portions closed overnight through the week for construction of the subway station at Tysons Corner Mall.

• Westbound lanes of the Dulles Access road will close overnight this week so that crews can install acoustical panels on the overhead track.
