The January meeting of the McLean Historical Society will feature Ron Baumgarten, attorney and local historian, presenting his research on the various Civil War encampments, fortifications and actions in the greater McLean area. More About McLean Community Center
The McLean Community center earns its name. It houses the Alden Theater, The McLean Project for the Arts. But it also hosts classes, community meetings, homeowners association meetings and study halls.
The Center was built 35 years ago and is paid for by a special tax on McLean residents.
