October is National Medicine and Substance Abuse Awareness Month. Join the Safe Community Coalition (SCC) in two special events on October 17, 2012 at the McLean Community Center (MCC). Bring your unused or expired medications to the MCC for safe disposal from 5pm-7pm. Come to the Community Meeting from 7pm-8:30pm to learn more of how this growing problem is affecting our families, our youth and our local community.

More About McLean Community Center
The McLean Community center earns its name. It houses the Alden Theater, The McLean Project for the Arts. But it also hosts classes, community meetings, homeowners association meetings and study halls.
The Center was built 35 years ago and is paid for by a special tax on McLean residents.
