Take the Kids to Clemyjontri Park: School starts soon, which means the weekday operation of the carousel at Clemyjontri Park will wind down soon. The carousel currently operates from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekends. Beginning Sept. 3, it will operate only on the weekend hours.

'I Do! I Do!' The musical "I Do! I Do!" is is winding up its run at Gunston Arts Center, 2700 S. Lang St. The production, by American Century Theater, shows at 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and wraps up Saturday with shows at 2:30 and 8 p.m.

Relax in Style: Local artist Curtis Blues revisits Delta blues from the '20s to the '40s from 7 to 9 p.m. at La Fromagerie, a cheese shop at 1222 King St. in Old Town Alexandria. This event happens every third Thursday. Call 703-879-2467 for more details.
