Coda Construction Wins McLean Softball City Series Championship 5-2

For the second year in a row, Coda Construction won the McLean Majors Softball City Series Championship.  McLean’s softball program is one of the best in the country, which was underscored last year when McLean’s All Star team placed second in the World Series.  Coda Construction had some of the best pitching in the league this season, headed by Jamie Wang, Gracen Govan and Caroline Simone.  They were supported by a solid defense which included Kate Haas, Caitlin (CJ) Jorae, Bailey Johnson, Olivia Lee, Cailey McLaughlin, Cameron Thierer, Maggie Ferguson, Hannah Haas and Piper Tedrow.  Rob Haas, this year’s Coach of the Year, took over the team three years ago and in the first year went 2-16.  Rob turned things around and won back to back Championships with the help of the other coaches including Jason Johnson, Bill Wang and Mark Tedrow.

Congratulations to Coda Construction and McLean Softball!
