Ken Cuccinelli Speaks to Women in McLean

Candidate Ken Cuccinelli Speaks to Women in McLean

Nearly one hundred women from five Northern Virginia counties gathered in McLean on Friday, September 20th to hear Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Ken Cuccinelli speak about his specific vision for Virginia. Alongside his wife Tiero, who is also from Northern Virginia, Attorney General Cuccinelli spoke about the issues that Virginia’s women are most interested in hearing about, i.e. Virginia’s economy, public education, smaller government and fiscal responsibility, and the safety of their children and families. The audience of  accomplished women from all “walks of life” listened attentively as Mr. Cuccinelli thoughtfully presented his plan to strengthen Virginia’s schools and better prepare our children to go on to college or to join the workforce. Many of the women present were also small business owners, and Cuccinelli spoke about his commitment to give tax relief to small businesses as well as Virginia’s middle class. As a graduate of Gonzaga HS in Washington, D.C., Ken Cuccinelli learned well the school’s creed; to be a Man for Others. He has well demonstrated this in his past 20+ years of public service in Virginia by advocating for the mentally ill and disabled, the elderly, and more recently the teenaged girls who are preyed upon by sex traffickers. The women attending unanimously agreed that Ken Cuccinelli is a very qualified and prepared candidate to govern our state.
