McLean, VA July 11, 2013—Seven weeks after Dranesville Supervisor John Foust’s office hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony launching McLean Community: A Village for all Ages (MCVA), one of the core programs McLean Senior Source (MSS) is fielding calls from McLean residents.

About McLean Senior Source (MSS)
The origins of McLean Senior Source date back to October 2011, when Supervisor Foust convened a forum at Capital One headquarters in Tysons Corner. The focus of the Forum was to make McLean a more supportive community, with a focus on the changing needs of older adults. Over 100 community group representatives and interested individuals attended and unequivocally confirmed the need for a “village of services” to support older adults and adults with disabilities who desired to “stay in place,” and live independent and active lives. Forum participants created MCVA and the first service is the McLean Senior Source (MSS). To learn more about MSS, visit: www.McLeanSS.weebly.com
