As we are in the midst of the holiday season, McLean Youth Soccer is very grateful for the support of our members, staff, and community partners. Now, we are especially eager to give back to the community.
Located just 10 minutes from Lewinsville Park, Homestretch provides housing and support services for homeless families with children. Through a series of comprehensive programs of job counseling, family mentoring, and children’s programs, Homestretch provides skills, knowledge, and most importantly, hope -- all necessary for these families to attain permanent housing and become productive participants in the community.
Keep in mind that the average age of someone in Homestretch is only eight years old. These families need our help to get them back on their feet. When a family moves into a transitional home, they start from scratch in obtaining basic kitchen and other household items. Homestretch has asked for our help to provide these families with some items - not only as a gift to families, but also as a motivation for them to keep working hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

With your help, McLean Youth Soccer is collecting supplies for these homeless families at Homestretch. The needed supplies include, but are not limited to:
Household cleaning supplies (dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, cleaning wipes)

Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant)
bath toys
diapers
juice boxes
arts and crafts materials
and so much more!
