RSVP Volunteer Program Orientation

RSVP- Northern Virginia is holding a volunteer orientation for interested members on October 1, 2013 at 3pm at The Dolly Madison Library (1244 Oak Ridge Ave, McLean, VA 22101).

If you are interested in becoming an RSVP volunteer, please register for our upcoming volunteer orientation: http://www.volunteerfairfax.org/individuals/rsvp.php

RSVP-Northern Virginia engages persons 55 and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs while providing a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of the volunteers. RSVP recruits volunteers, assesses their availability and skills, and then matches their interests, skills and experience with the best volunteer placement. As an added benefit to volunteers, RSVP members are eligible to receive mileage and meal reimbursement, supplemental insurance while serving, and ongoing group service and recognition events. RSVP- Northern Virginia is sponsored by Volunteer Fairfax in partnership with Volunteer Alexandria and Volunteer Arlington.

For more information or questions, please contact the RSVP Volunteer Specialist, Courtney Kurzweil at CKurzweil@volunteerfairfax.org or 703-403-5360.
