Welcome WWII Veterans at Dulles Airport on May 3

Please consider joining a local Odyssey of the Mind team of sixth and seventh graders and other families in our community in welcoming 125 World War II and Korean War Veterans as they arrive at Dulles Airport on Saturday, May 3rd at 9:45am on an Honor Flight.

Honor Flights fly WWII Veterans, Korean War veterans, and terminally ill veterans from other conflicts free of charge from their home state to Washington DC to see their memorials as a final thank you and to let them know how much their sacrifices are still appreciated.

The experience will touch your heart and leave a lasting impression on being thankful for all the freedoms we cherish. It is a chance now to thank these American Heroes before it is too late to do so.

If you can join the welcoming, please email deannakeys@yahoo.com with your name and the number in your group so that we can pass this on to the Dulles Honor Flight coordinator to allow for validated parking and to receive more information on where to meet that morning.
