Herndon Town Council officially has a beef with goats. A Herndon woman has lobbied for six months to get a zoning amendment that would allow her to keep her pet miniature goats. The council rejected the proposal Tuesday.
Kathe Barsotti argued miniature, dwarf or pygmy goats make good pets and provide fresh dairy and brush-clearing abilities.
