Updated: Increasing Chance of Snow Tuesday Night in McLean

Update (4:14 p.m.): The National Weather Service is now calling for an 80 percent chance of snow to fall on McLean on Tuesday night. Total nighttime accumulation of less than 1 inch is possible, according to the latest forecast.

Winter weather advisories are in effect for southern and eastern Washington suburbs, with the most snow expected southeast of the Washington metro area, according to the Capital Weather Gang.

Updated (2:57 p.m.): McLean felt like 10 below zero Tuesday morning, thanks to the wind chill, and there's a chance it could end the day with more snow.

The National Weather Service forecasts a high of 19 on Tuesday in McLean, with a 60 percent chance of snow — saying snow is "likely," mainly between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Tuesday night's low should be around 12 degrees.

Wednesday: High near 26, low around 13.

Thursday: High near 32, low around 23.

Friday: High near 42, low around 29.

Saturday: High near 47, low around 34 and a 30 percent chance of rain Saturday night.

Sunday: High near 42, low near 26.

Monday: High near 39.
