AAUW OPEN HOUSE at the McLean Community Center

AAUW OPEN HOUSE SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 AT 2:30 P.M. at the McLean Community Center


The McLean Area Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites all members and interested persons to an Open House on Sunday, September 23 at 2:30 p.m. at the McLean Community Center (1234 Ingleside Avenue, McLean, VA).


At the Open House, you will be introduced to the many Special Interest AAUW Groups: Around Town, Bridge, Current Events and Great Decisions Discussions, International Coffee and Cultural Exchange and Literature Groups.  You will also learn about volunteer opportunities at the Pimmit Center, as well as working with middle and high school girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs, and AAUW Lobby Corps.

AAUW’s mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. Recipients of the McLean Branch AAUW local scholarships attending George Mason University and Trinity College will tell you their stories.
