Fall Fashion and Frivolity at Tysons Galleria Saturday

Welcome back, Joie readers! With summer all wrapped up, we’re ready to leave earthquakes and hurricanes behind, and get back to some good, indulgent McLean fun.

So dig your high heels out from underneath the pile of flip flops in the closet and don your cutest new dress—its time for Tysons Galleria to celebrate All Access Fashion. Saturday, September 24, from 9 am to 8 pm, Galleria shops will be offering trunk shows, designer and celebrity appearances, branded lounges and couture experiences.

Everywhere from Neimen’s to Comfort One Shoes will take part, making the Galleria into your fabulous adult playground.

All day, runway shows and presentations will be launching from the Galleria’s center court. We’re looking forward to seeing the graceful and forward-thinking Elie Tahari collection at 3 pm, followed by the always cheeky and entertaining fashions of Betsey Johnson at 8 pm.

Don’t be afraid to bring your man; Ermenegildo Zegna—the super stylish Italian men’s fashion house—will showcase their menswear collection at 7 p.m. Even from a distance you’ll be able to tell that their suits are made from the most heavenly ultra-fine wool in the world. (As such, Joie reminds you to refrain from touching the models.)

Stop for lunch or dinner at Wildfire. They will be serving a three course, prix fixe menu for both meals, which includes runway model fare (soups and salads), as well as stuff for the rest of us (prime rib, flourless chocolate cake).
