Less tahn 100 customers throughout Fairfax still lack power, according to Dominion Power.
Update. 4:08pm. Tysons Corner residents who live near Westpark Drive and are without power can expect to have their power restored no later than 7 pm., according to the Dominion Power website.

Another 10 neighbors who live just east of Balls Hill Road are also without power. Restoration time from 7-9 p.m., according to Dominion Power.
More than 600 Dominion Power customers in Fairfax have lost power, according to the company website.

Original story. More than 300 Tysons Corner residents are without power as a noisy Sunday afternoon thunderstorm roars through the area dumping rain.
Fairfax County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9p.m. according to the National Weather Service. The county was under a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:30. They were sure right about that.
National Weather Service says for the rest of the evening:
Late Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 88. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southwest wind around 7 mph becoming northwest. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
