UPDATE: Overnight Beltway Closings Cancelled for Tonight

UPDATE: The previously-announced Beltway lane closures in Tysons Corner have been cancelled for tonight, Monday, June 27:
.         Three right lanes of southbound I-495 at Route 123
·         Full closure of the entrance ramp from southbound Route 123 to southbound I-495
·         Full closure of eastbound Tysons Boulevard between Route 123 and Galleria Drive.
 
The closures on I-495 will resume tomorrow night, June 28, continue nightly through June 30 at 11 p.m., and will be picked up by 5 a.m.
 
The closure of the entrance ramp will take place tomorrow night, June 28, and Wednesday, June 29, also starting at 11 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m.
 
The full closures of eastbound Tysons Boulevard previously planned for the rest of this week are also cancelled. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

Original Story: Multiple lane closures on southbound I-495 at Route 123  up to 30 minutes as crews construct the subway  over the beltway.
 
The three right lanes will be closed from Old Dominion Drive to Route 123 Monday, June 27 through Wednesday, June 29, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The entrance ramp from southbound Route 123 to southbound I-495 also will be closed at the same days/times. Ramp traffic will be directed to continue on southbound Route 123, turn right on to International Drive, to Galleria Drive, to Tysons Boulevard, to Route 123 north.
 
On Thursday, June 30, the three left lanes will close from 2,000 feet north of Lewinsville Road to Route 123, also from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. All ramps to and from Route 123 will remain open that night.
 
Overnight Closures of Eastbound Tysons Boulevard Closures between Galleria Drive and Route 123 Start Monday Night    
 
The eastbound lanes of Tysons Boulevard will be closed near Galleria Drive to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30, for pier and station work.
 
FULL ROAD CLOSURES of Dulles Toll Road east at I-495, I-495 north at Route 7, and I-495 north/west at I-395.

I-66 east from Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) to Great Falls St. overpass - Left lane closed Monday - Thursday night for bridge work.

Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west from Westpark Dr. to Spring Hill Rd. - Two lanes closed Monay - Thursday nights for utility work. Expect intermittent road closures of up to 15 minutes after midnight.

Expect daytime delays in the Tysons Corner area along the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267), Leesburg Pike (Route 7) and Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123).

• I-495 south at Exit 47, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) -  Left lane of collector distributor road closed Thursday night for traffic shift.
• I-495 north at Exit 47, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Road closed Monday and Tuesday nights for bridge demolition. Traffic will be directed to use the collector distributor road.
• I-495 north to Exit 47A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west - Ramp closed Wednesday and Thursday nights for bridge demolition. DETOUR
• I-495 north at Exit 47, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Three right lanes closed Wednesday and Thursday nights for bridge demolition.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east or west at I-495 - Single lane closed Monday - Thursday nights for bridge demolition.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west to I-495 north - Ramp closed Wednesday and Thursday nights for bridge demolition. Traffic will be directed to continue west, make a U-turn at International Dr. onto Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east and follow signs to I-495 north.

• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east to I-495 south - Ramp closed Thursday night for bridge demolition. Traffic will be directed to continue east, make a U-turn at George Marshall Dr. onto Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and follow signs to I-495 south.

 
REMINDER: Flagging Operation at Magarity/Olney Intersection Continues  
 
Flaggers will be directing thru traffic at the Magarity Road/Olney Road intersection in the Pimmit Hills neighborhood as crews continue restoration of the curb line and gutter, and installation of a new storm drainage pipe.
 
This work will reduce thru traffic to one lane on each road from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30, and 9:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 1.
 
Private entrances and driveways will be accessible at all times. Signage will be installed warning drivers that the flaggers and one-lane traffic are ahead. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through this intersection.
