Tysons Corner Awarded Its Own Postal Designation

Tysons Corner has always had a post office. Now it's has its own postal designation.

That means our neighbors in Tysons Corner can now use "Tysons Corner"  as their address. Now they use McLean or Vienna depending on where they live in Tysons Corner. That's all according to a story  in The Washington Post.

Tysons Corner will continue with its current zip codes: McLean's 22102 zip code for the area generally around Spring Hill Road and Jones Branch Road. The post office for 22102, Spring Hill, is located on Spring Hill Road in Tysons Corner.

Vienna's 22182 applies to the rest of Tysons Corner. TBD reported that about 20,000 addresses would be affected.
