Bookworms in McLean are in luck Wednesday as Claude Moore Colonial Farm hosts a book sale event in which residents can cart home bags of books.

The sale runs from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the farm, 6310 Georgetown Pike, McLean.

For $5, residents can fill up a bag or two with books across 75 categories, from children's literature and adult nonfiction to cooking, gardening and self-help books. Many of them are hardcover titles, a McLean Patch announcement about the sale says.
