When Is Peak Bloom for Bluebells at Riverbend Park?
It's the first day of spring Thursday.
We've heard the reports that Old Man Winter might try to make a comeback next week, but we're still celebrating the first day of spring Thursday anyway.
The bluebell watch is on at Fairfax County Park Authority's Riverbend Park in Great Falls. These native flowers are expected to peak April 8 and April 15.
You didn't hear this from us, but the National Weather Service says McLean has a 50 percent chance of seeing some snow next Tuesday night.
