Battle of Lewinsville Commemorative Marker Dedication Ceremony
A Civil War Trails marker dedication ceremony will take place under the aegis of McLean & Great Falls Celebrate Virginia, Inc. and the McLean Historical Society. Carole Herrick, noted local historian and chairwoman of the former organization, will speak briefly about the battle and the marker's text, of which she is the author.
Local musicians will provide interludes of period music, and the Fairfax Rifles will execute a rifle volley.
The public is encouraged to attend this dedication of McLean's second Virginia Civil War Trails marker.
