Empty Bowls Fundraiser at NIH Booth at McLean Day

Students from the McLean High School Interact Club, Key Club, Student Government and the Art Honor Society helped organize an Empty Bowls fundraiser for Stop Hunger Now earlier this week at McLean HS. Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger.  Students are selling ceramic bowls made at an earlier Empty Bowls Event they held in March.   They will be taking donations and selling ceramic bowls for $5 each as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.  You can find them at the stand set up by NIH (National Institute of Health).  They have some beautiful bowls!   All money raised will be donated to Stop Hunger Now.

We hope that you will join the many MHS organizations united to support of Empty Bowls and Stop Hunger Now-- two organizations working to educate, raise awareness, and ultimately help put an end to world hunger. See you at McLean Day, May 21st, at the NIH booth!!
