Imagery from both the unconscious mind and from popular culture is depicted in a skillful, yet free flowing style by this artist. Using a visual vocabulary partially derived from animated car- toons, these paintings have a strong linear quality, a subtle and sophisticated color-play, and a tremendously active sense of movement.
