Boy Scout Raleigh Johnson worked over the Labor Day weekend on a project to improve and beautify Spring Hill Elementary School, according to that school's PTA.
Johnson is working on becoming an Eagle Scout. His project this weekend included painting the school's parking lot lines so that they were visible.
Most Fairfax County Public Schools students started the new year on Tuesday.
