Barnes & Noble to Close More Stores

The status of the Tysons Corner Mall store is not clear.

Barnes & Noble Inc. is considering closing up to one-third of its storefronts in the next 10 years, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal Monday.

Barnes & Noble is closing its Reston location at The Spectrum, Reston Patch has reported. That closure was announced in late 2012 and it is not related to the upcoming round of retail location closures. A Container Store will be moving into the space being vacated by the bookstore.

Barnes & Noble has a location in Tysons Corner, and the fate of that store is yet to be determined. Barnes & Noble has not released a list of locations that will close in the coming decade.
