The paint is dry, we have furniture in place and we are open for business! Please join us for our Safe Community Coalition (SCC) Open House on Tuesday, October 25th from 5pm until 7pm. Our offices are located at 6818 Tennyson Drive in McLean. Light refreshments will be served. SCC Board Members and staff look forward to meeting our neighbors and welcoming the entire community to our new offices.
The SCC works in McLean, Great Falls, Falls Church and Vienna to strengthen communication between teens and their communities. The active participation of neighbors, businesses, schools, local government, law enforcement, civic and faith organizations creates the coalition that is needed to assist youth in reinforcing responsible decision making and building a community where young people are healthy, safe and free from alcohol and drug use.
