A McLean shopping center will soon be getting a new restaurant.

, which bills itself as a New York-style deli, is set to open soon at Langley Shopping Center on Chain Bridge Road.

Santini's was hoping for an opening in August, but is waiting on county permits and it's uncertain what the exact opening date will be, according to an employee at its Reston location.

On the menu: Pizza, sandwiches, subs, salads and calzones. See the full menu here.

The Langley Shopping Center has had a vacant spot for a Chicken Out for some time, but it's uncertain whether that will be the location of the new restaurant. No one from Santini's was immediately available Thursday to confirm the exact address at the McLean shopping center.

Santini's currently has restaurants in Reston, Oakton, Sterling and Chantilly.

We were told Langley Shopping Center. Will have to verify.

There is a big banner on the Old Chicken Out saying 'Coming soon, Santini's'. Lost is all this is does McLean really need another Pizza/Sub place. We already have Rocco's, McLean Pizza, Papa John's, Domino's etc. I think not.

There has never been a Chicken Out at Langley Shopping Center, so the article is incorrect.

It was just a "coming soon" sign.

I pressed them to consider a location in the vacant Chicken Out in McLean last year. Glad to see it happening. With Santini's here I suspect many of the weaker pizza spots in McLean will suffer. It's that good.
