Restaurant of the Year: Harth Restaurant

Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce Award Winner

The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce annually  honors community and business leaders for their outstanding service to McLean. Seventeen men and women, our neighbors, received awards in a recent ceremony for their amazing work. McLean Patch is profiling each winner this week by publishing the citations awarded to each.

Restaurant of the Year:  Harth Restaurant, Chef Tom Elder

Fresh, local, delicious: artisan dining from our hearts to guests’ plates. Hilton McLean is home to a Tysons Corner hidden jewel: härth restaurant where guests enjoy Fireside dining 365 days a year.

Executive Chef Thomas Elder orchestrates a menu of locally sourced ingredients from Ayrshire Farm, a co-op of family owned farms throughout the state, along with fresh food from their own terrace level garden and rooftop beehives.

härth also boasts a renowned wood burning oven, three stone fireplaces and décor that awakens the senses and warms the heart. The outdoor patio, with additional seating for 50 people, is complete with its own fire pit. Next door, the iconic 18-hour härth bar features small plates and an extensive wine list along with handcrafted cocktails and local beers.
