Powell's admirers will line up by their ticket numbers the evening of the 31st and then be admitted to the store with their book in hand.

The book, “It Worked For Me: In Life and Leadership,” which will be released Tuesday, is largely a series of leadership parables from Powell, The Huffington Post reported.

The last time McLean had this kind of excitement about a book signing was two years ago when former First Lady Laura Bush visited the same bookstore to sign her memoir.

Welcome Tom Davis. A funny thing happened after former U.S. Rep. Tom Davis endorsed fellow Republican in the Republican primary election June 12 in the 11th Congressional District.

Turns out Davis, who formerly represented the 11th, no longer lives With all the redistricting reshuffling, he now lives in the 10th District, where Republican Frank Wolf has been the congressman for years.

Thanks to redistricting, the 11th is now safely Democratic, and the 10th is even more Republican. Wolf, who is 73, took office in 1981. Davis is 63. This could get interesting...

Proud Mom. McLean High Principal Debbie Jackson proudly told McLean Rotary on Tuesday that her youngest son graduates from George Washington University Law School this Sunday. She's beaming.
