Overnight Closings Up to 30 Minutes I-495,Dulles Connector Road, Total Overnight Closing: Jones Branch Road

This week's traffic travails throughout McLean and Tysons Corner brought to you by the simultaneous construction of the  Express Lanes and the Metro line to Dulles.

I-495 south from Exit 44, Georgetown Pike (Route 193) to Oak St. overpass - Three lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for overhead sign and paving work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.

Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west from I-495 to the Toll Plaza - Three left lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for sign work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.

Jones Branch Dr. north and south from Westpark Dr. to Westbranch Dr. - Road closed Monday - Saturday nights for sign work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.

Dulles International Airport Access Hwy. east from I-495 to Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) - Road closed Friday night for roadway shift. Traffic will be directed to use the Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east.

Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west from Spring Hill Rd. to Westwood Center Dr. - Left lane closed Monday - Saturday nights for station work.

Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east from Westwood Center Dr. to Spring Hill Rd. - Left lane and two left turn lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for station work. Traffic will be directed to continue east make a U-turn at Westpark Dr. onto Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and make a right onto Spring Hill Rd.

Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north at Tysons Blvd. - Multiple lanes closed Monday – Saturday nights for station work. Prior to work zone, traffic will be directed to make a left onto International Dr., right onto Galleria Dr. and follow signs to Tysons Blvd.

Left Turns from Eastbound Route 7 onto Spring Hill Road to Close Overnights
 
Dulles Corridor Metrorail construction will close the left turn lanes from eastbound Route 7 onto Spring Hill Road overnights next week due to precast concrete installation at nearby Spring Hill (Tysons West) Station. These lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19, and from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21.
 
Left thru lane of eastbound Route 7 will also be closed between Westwood Center Drive and Spring Hill Road during this time.
 
Left Turns from Westbound Route 7 onto Westwood Center Drive to Close Overnights
 
Acoustical panel installation will cause the left turn lanes from westbound Route 7 onto Westwood Center Drive to close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19, and from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21.
 
The left thru lane of westbound Route 7 will be closed from approximately 1500 feet east of Spring Hill Road and Westwood Center Drive during this time. The turn lane to Spring Hill Road will remain open.
 
Eastbound Tysons Boulevard Thru Lanes to Close Overnights Next Week
 
Eastbound Tysons Boulevard thru lanes will be closed between Route 123 and Galleria Drive overnights Monday, July 16 through Saturday, July 21 to allow for work at nearby Tysons Corner (Tysons Central 123) Station.
 
This also will require the closures of the turn lanes on to Tysons Boulevard from northbound and southbound Galleria Drive. These lane closures will be implemented from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19, and from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21.
