Tyson's Corner Start-Up Unleashes Its First Frozen Yogurt 'Robot'

It's the Frobot: Dispensing frozen yogurt from a vending machine.

For people who work in an office, a quick snack to make it to quitting time means heading to a vending machine.

A pair of accountants who met in college have put their heads together and created a new twist. Meet Frobot, a vending machine that sells frozen yogurt. It's been featured in recent stories in The Washington Post and the Washington Business Journal.

The concept is somewhat similar to the old automats that went by the wayside years ago.

The difference is co-creators Melissa Nelson and Jeremy O'Sullivan are taking the vending machine to the people. In their case, they've positioned their first machine at a busy office at Dupont Circle.

The two will reportedly roll out more machines as they tweak their business after testing their prototype.

Watch their video here to see how it works and keep up with the company on Facebook. A launch party is set for June 26.
