LOCAL NEW YORK LIFE AGENT WILLIAM R. GORMAN II IS OFFERING ADDED PROTECTION AND SECURITY THROUGH AARP PRODUCTS

 

VIENNA, VA, September 30, 2013 William R. Gorman II, from the Northern Virginia General Office of New York Life, is now authorized to offer AARP branded life insurance and lifetime income annuity products to AARP members.  It is the first time these group life insurance products are offered by authorized-to-offer Agents.

 

Mr. Gorman is among a select group of New York Life agents who became authorized to offer clients AARP Guaranteed Acceptance Life; AARP Level Benefit Term; AARP Permanent Life Insurance, all from New York Life and New York Life’s Guaranteed Lifetime Income Annuity.  He is a Licensed Insurance Agent and passed courses specific to AARP. 

 

Mr. Gorman has a BA from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and an MBA from Virginia Tech.  He is a recipient of multiple agent awards, and is a licensed Registered Representative.  Mr. Gorman is licensed to assist clients with Life, Health, Long-Term Care Insurance and Financial products in the following states:  Arizona, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, and Texas.

 

He has been an officer and member of his local Knights of Columbus council, and has participated in its regular charity events.  He recently moved from Northern Virginia and now resides in Baltimore County, Maryland, with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children.
