Dusting of Snow Likely in McLean by Friday Morning

A very small amount of snow may accumulate Thursday night and Friday morning across the region.

Weather forecasters are predicting snow will start falling after midnight with accumulations up to an inch possible across Northern Virginia, according to the National Weather Service—a huge change from Wednesday, when the high temperature at Dulles International Airport was 72 degrees.

Thursday night’s low temperature will be around 31 degrees, and high temperatures Friday will not be higher than 35 degrees.

Because this snow is driven by a “clipper” system, it is very unlikely our area will get more than a dusting.
