Metro Accomodates Redskins Fans Monday Night

Metro will stay open an hour later Dec. 3.

If you're relying on Metro for part of your trip home from the Redskins game Monday night, you are in luck. Metro will remain open an extra hour to accommodate fans leaving the Redskins game Monday against the New York Giants at FedEx field.

According to a Metro news release, the last Blue Line train in the direction of Franconia-Springfield will leave the Morgan Boulevard station at 12:25 a.m., and the last Blue Line train to Largo Town Center will depart at 1:33 a.m.

Metro customers will be able to transfer to other lines at the following stations:

  • Orange Line - transfer at Stadium-Armory
  • Green or Yellow line - transfer at L'Enfant Plaza
  • Red Line - transfer at Metro Center

Though Metro entrances will close at the normal time, riders will be able to exit from the stations normally.
