Weekend Weather: Northern Virginia Could See 65 Degrees Sunday

Rain Friday, possible fog Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service predicts a soggy start to the weekend, with a 70 percent chance of rain during the day Friday, continuing into the evening with a 60 percent chance.

The Capital Weather Gang says the metro area could see some fog Friday night. Temperatures on Friday will likely reach about 50 degrees.

The rain is forecasted to end but the clouds are predicted to stick around Saturday and Sunday.

Some areas of Northern Virginia could see fog Saturday morning before 10 a.m., the weather service says. Temperatures will climb, with highs reaching 58 degrees in the area Saturday.

Look for even higher unseasonable temperatures on Sunday with a high of 65 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
