Military Appreciation Monday - Supporting the Yellow Ribbon Fund
- WE NEED YOU!! Dorothy Friedlander and I partners of MD Realty Group will be hosting our Military Appreciation Dinner on Monday 12/10 at 6:30 at Pulcinellas Restaurant in McLean. We are sponsoring the... Yellow Ribbon Fund and we need people to attend.
It’s fun. You come, you sit with nice people, you buy yourself dinner maybe win a raffle prize and whatever you spend will be matched by Dorothy and I and a few other sponsors who support us (You can certainly be one of them!!!!) and we donate that money to (this month) The Yellow Ribbon Fund.
And what does the Yellow Ribbon Fund do you might ask? Well, I think it does something terrific. It brings family members to the bedside of the injured soldier. It gives them transportation back and forth from the hospital to an apartment which they supply and if the injured is mobile they get tickets to take them for an outing. Being with loved ones helps the recuperation of course!
Am I tugging at your hearstrings yet? I hope so because we started late and are desperate for people to come on Monday night. Anyone you can bring will be welcomed with open arms as well. Just COME! We will be so happy to see you.
