NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE EVENT - Habitat Restoration in McLean Central Park

Please join us in McLean Central Park where we will learn how to properly remove invasive species. We will be removing English Ivy from trees. You will learn about the damage and eventual death these plants cause to trees and how they successfully compete with our wildlife's food sources.

Come prepared with water, gloves and pruners. Bring loppers and trowels, if you have them. Please label all your tools with your name. We will meet at 10:30 AM near the entrance to Dolley Madison Library. See you there!

RAINDATE: 1/27/13  (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM)
