Come nurture yourself and your baby in this 5-week mini-series designed to enhance comfort, confidence, strength and ease as Moms-to-Be go through pregnancy and birth. It's for all expectant moms-from the Yoga beginner who wants to explore the many benefits of yoga for mom and baby, to the seasoned Yogini who needs to take a gentler approach at this special time in life.
You’ll build your strength and prepare for labor through breath work, hip opening, pelvic floor exercises, spinal alignment, and fetal positioning, as well as movements designed to relieve tension in your back, neck and shoulders. Movements and poses are tailored to all stages of pregnancy. Guided meditations will help reduce stress and prepare you mentally and emotionally for birth and motherhood.

About the Instructors: Alicia Reilly & Lisa Danahy have special training and experience in prenatal yoga and have studied, supported, and grown their yoga practices together for over 10 years. Both long-time Dream Yoga and Kripalu students, Alicia and Lisa each lead group classes at Dream, conduct private yoga sessions, and bring offsite programs to schools, businesses & organizations throughout the DC area. They specialize in yoga for teachers, parents, families & children.
